Welcome

Famber Winery is a young company that operates based on a strong system of values, with Friendship at its forefront.

Energetic and dreamy, the winery team starts off with a phenomenal wine Viorica, the native grape being intentionally chosen as an opener, taking into account the Moldovan people’s roots. The juicy and sweet grapes, carefully selected, bathed in the sun’s rays, are hand harvested, berry by berry in order to produce the very essence of our terroir. Driven the by excellence in every detail, the winemaker put his heart and courage in all his wines, launching them sincerely and humble on to the local market. Even though it doesn’t have an old legend passed down from father to son, it has a heart big enough for a hundred generations, because Famber knows how to transpose what nature gives into enjoyable and hedonistic wines. Exceptional Year Dry Red WineMerlot 2020

‘Exceptional Year’ – when the soil, rain, light and warmth of the sun meet at the perfect time and place, they create exceptional grapes. These grapes were harvested late, in the second half of October, in the south of Moldova. Carefully picked by hand in small, 6 kg crates, they were lightly dehydrated. The maceration process was a long one, 5 weeks, monitored very carefully. This wine was born in meditation. A full and velvety wine, harmonious and elegant, with ripe and well-structured tannins. It is the perfect companion for matured red meat or game dishes. The winemaker guarantees an ageing potential of up to 12 years in the bottle, in cellar conditions, a time period during which the wine will round up and build extra complexity and elegance. It has been matured in American barrique for 12 months and then aged in the bottle before its release on the market. Signed by Grigore and Adrian, the wine corresponds to the <<Exceptional Year>> quality and the producer guarantees the quality and authenticity of the wine.

Dry Red WineError 404

You’ve become an IT specialist and you’ve developed exquisite tastes. You want agility, intuitive UI and space before and after =. But we know that behind these demands you’ve remained a teenager who left for the city to escape the farmer’s shovel. Deep inside you miss your father’s shoe smell and the petrichor aroma of a rainy day in the countryside, the fog in the air at the end of a hot summer day, the chocolate melted in your pocket on the Christmas eve. So we’ve brought you a ‘bunny’ wine that’s intelligible, with low snobbery. It smells like clay and prune jam, and tastes like honesty with yourself. This wine was matured in American bariqque for 12 months.

Dry White WineSauvignon Blanc

Crisp, elegant and refreshing, it never fails to delight us with its fruity, delicious character. Wines made from the Sauvignon Blanc grapes are well-balanced, with finesse, high natural acidity and very appealing characteristic herbaceous aromatics. It is one of the few wines that pairs well with sushi. It is also a good gastronomic match with fish, cheese, seafood and white meat. In short, a white wine that can turn a Wednesday into a weekend day.

Off-Dry White WineRiesling

One of main Riesling’s qualities is defined as “a sense of place.” This grape variety fascinates with the way it transmits the minerality of the soil into the glass, and at the same time it is a grape variety that is controversial due to its slightly fruity aftertaste, being considered a semi-aromatic variety. Respecting the German tradition, this wine is a true, off-dry wine. A soft, perfumed wine with a medium body with pleasant, crisp acidity. You will find notes of apple, apricot and peach. Recommended in combination with mild cow cheese, slightly spicy Asian food, chicken and white fish.

Off-Dry White WineViorica

The wine made from the indigenous Viorica grape variety is considered the ambassador of Moldovan white wines. A fresh wine with hints of lilac and apricot, completed by basil and spicy notes in the background. A complex, well-structured palate with citrus and vanilla in the aftertaste. Recommended with seafood, pasta and soft desserts. Cheeses: soft cheese. The recommended gastronomic pairing for this wine is eel with potatoes.
